THE PERSISTENCE AND TRANSIENCE OF HOME
(2018 - ongoing)
A project in progress, these photographs are made thinking of the present, past, places, and objects resonating of home. Through the ambiguity of time that Polaroid cameras, printers, and prints allow, I am connecting diaristic and archived family photographs - fragments of memory spanning over 55 years and three generations - to create a blended understanding of home without chronology or tie to a specific location.
