Hello.

I am an artist working primarily with both analog and digital photographic materials and their processes to explore the relationship between a person and their perception of reality. I look for shared human experiences, the timeless, along with the magical and mysterious in life.

In developing projects, I begin with a conceptual framework then take an experimental approach with various materials - film and digital photography, mixed media - combining and/or connecting them, eventually arriving with a set of materials, tools, and processes supporting the artistic intent, conceptual parameters, and expression for the project. The final photographs and mixed media objects are made with an emphasis on poetic expression, craftsmanship, and rarity. They are made with the intention that you may enjoy the imagery online, in publications, in exhibitions, and perhaps collect the final objects; more importantly, I hope they offer a point of connection and have an effect on the way you view the world.

My work is exhibited, published, and resides in private collections. Exhibitions include group shows at the Griffin Museum of Photography, the New Space Center of Photography, the Garner Center for Photographic Exhibitions; photographs have appeared in various printed and online publications including SHOTS Magazine, Don't Take Pictures, and New England Exposure Online.

I currently live just outside Toronto, Canada, near the shore of Lake Ontario. I am a graduate of The New England School of Photography, a small college in Boston that closed its doors in 2020 after 52 years in operation. I have also received an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree in computer science and commerce from the University of Ottawa. Prior to beginning my artistic practice in 2005, I was an I.T. Strategy Consultant in the advertising, loyalty marketing, and wealth management industries. I am also the daughter of an architect; my father taught me a great deal about the importance of spaces, creativity, professionalism, and being resourceful.
